A couple things

Firstly, about the Automorph with the neck. On my original release (and Target-exclusive G1 re-deco) of this mold, the neck is just fine. But on the Premium it doesn't quite come up all the way, like you mentioned, and annoys me to no end.

But arent there bigger, more detailed versions of this toy?
With perhaps more "poseability"?

Bigger, more detailed versions?

As far as the Movie line goes...I don't own the Fast Action Battlers version, and that looks a little big bigger in the package, but that's kind of like the "for kids" version, and lacks detail, articulation, and complexity. There is also a non-transforming Robot Replicas version, though I'm not entirely sure how it compares in size.

As for bigger versions of Jazz in general...a lot of people call the Alternators and Binaltech (BT-08) "Meister" figures "Jazz", and the new BT-20 is, to my understanding, ACTUALLY called Jazz. Correct me if I'm wrong...

No, you're right.

No, you're right. Hasbro and Takara weren't able to secure the rights to Jazz's name when they made the Binaltech figure, so they opted for Meister (which, when you think about it, also has an aire of street-wise). In fact, for every single figure you see of him today, he is not labeled simply as "Jazz", but rather "Autobot Jazz" or "Final Battle Jazz"; anything except the singular name.
And this same rule also applies to Ratchet (probably because of the "Ratchet and Clank" series of video games).
