<p>When I was younger I saw this really messed up movie about 2 Canadian guys and a dog who flew. It really blew my mind with just how out there it was. I mean, I was 10 years old when I saw it for the first time, and It has stuck with me since.</p>

<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00006FDCT?ie=UTF8&tag=quibx-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B00006FDCT"><img border="0" src="http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B00006FDCT.01._AA_SCMZZZZZZZ_.jpg"></a><img src="http://www.assoc-amazon.com/e/ir?t=quibx-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B00006FDCT" width="1" height="1" border="0" alt="" style="border:none !important; margin:0px !important;" />

<p>As a side note, it is really odd how things that I experienced during this period of my life are the things I gravitate towards. Tron, The Black Hole, Strange Brew&hellip; Xanadu&hellip; But I digress..</p>

<div class ="giImageBlock g2image_centered"><div class="one-image">

                              <a href="http://www.collectiondx.com/gallery/Toys/McFarlane/MckenzieBrothers/PC282602.jpg.html" >

      <img src="http://www.collectiondx.com/gallery2/gallery/d/71832-3/PC282602.jpg" width="640" height="480" class="giThumbnail" alt="PC282602.jpg" longdesc=""/>
    </a>

   </div>
</div>

<p>In 2000 Mcfarlane Toys released Bob and Doug McKenzie figures. These things are awesome. Bob and Doug were packaged separately, but their bases and accessories combined to form the stage of their TV show, The Great White North.</p>

<div class ="giImageBlock g2image_centered"><div class="one-image">

                              <a href="http://www.collectiondx.com/gallery/Toys/McFarlane/MckenzieBrothers/PC282596.jpg.html" >

      <img src="http://www.collectiondx.com/gallery2/gallery/d/71828-3/PC282596.jpg" width="480" height="640" class="giThumbnail" alt="PC282596.jpg" longdesc=""/>
    </a>

   </div>
</div>

<p>The likenesses of the figures to their characters are amazing. Bob looks just like Rick Moranis and Doug looks just like Dave Thomas. Although the figures are stuck in a sitting pose, there is a surprisingly large amount of articulation. They can drink beer in any number of positions.</p>

<div class ="giImageBlock g2image_centered"><div class="one-image">

                              <a href="http://www.collectiondx.com/gallery/Toys/McFarlane/MckenzieBrothers/PC282605.jpg.html" >

      <img src="http://www.collectiondx.com/gallery2/gallery/d/71834-3/PC282605.jpg" width="480" height="640" class="giThumbnail" alt="PC282605.jpg" longdesc=""/>
    </a>

   </div>
</div>

<p>McFarlane went overboard in terms of accessories. The bases look like a wooden floor and they connect to each other. Each has a sound chip with 2 different sounds in them. The sounds are activated by pressing a button on the side of the base.

<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Ijtamq8S9q8"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Ijtamq8S9q8" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

Each figure also came with one half of the table. The halves can stand separately, or you can combine them into one long table through an innovative method of hiding the middle legs. Of course the main accessory here is beer. Both toys include copious amounts of beer bottles (both long and short neck), cardboard beer cases and even in-scale beer bottle caps! And what would beer be without food? The figures come with a grill that has removable hamburger patties, and there are also small half eaten donuts (presumably Jellies). Last but not least there is also a cooler for the beer. The cooler has small areas in it so you can place your choice of beer in it. Heck, there is even a cover for the cooler!</p>

                              <a href="http://www.collectiondx.com/gallery/Toys/McFarlane/MckenzieBrothers/PC282598.jpg.html" >

</div>

<div class ="giImageBlock g2image_centered"><div class="one-image">

                              <a href="http://www.collectiondx.com/gallery/Toys/McFarlane/MckenzieBrothers/PC282600.jpg.html" >

    </a>

   </div>
</div>
<p>This is a really fun set, and as far as I know, the only toys ever made from this movie. I would have really liked to have seen them continue with this line, as there are so many great characters that need to be made.</p>
<p>If you are a fan of Strange Brew &ndash; you NEED this set.</p>
