"Masane Amaha" is the leader character (and blade wielder) of "Witchblade," an anime series based on the famous American comic book by the same name. Instead of an adaptation of the original story, the producers decided to create an entire new setup, with all new characters. The anime is being directed by Yoshimitsu Ohashi (director of Galaxy Angel & Galaxy Angel Z) and the character designs are done by Uno Makoto (character designer of the Gravion TV Series & Stellvia). She is being introduced in her VERY SEXY uniform (or what's left of it). The figure is 8" tall comes equipped with accessories (such as one blade and a custom base for display) and its part of "Organic USA" original product. Kotobukiya announces their first merchandise from the new film THE DARK KNIGHT!

Tokyo, Japan April 30, 2008 – This summer will see the theatrical release of the newest cinematic chapter in the Batman saga: THE DARK KNIGHT. Kotobukiya announces a series of high-end collectibles based on the film, each exhibiting the level of quality and craftsmanship that the company is known for, with the first release being BATMAN "DARK KNIGHT BAT-SUIT" ARTFX STATUE.

From Christopher Nolan's epic contribution to the Batman film mythos comes this deluxe, collector's edition ARTFX Statue of The Dark Knight detective. Standing almost 14 inches tall, Batman is posed throwing his flowing cape to one side, posed dramatically on the destroyed Bat-Signal – emblematic of his place in the eyes of the GCPD at the end of the film. Fine details of the new mesh-and-armor Bat-Suit have been faithfully recreated by sculptor BusujimaX, and the figure even features an excellent likeness of actor Christian Bale. ARTFX Statues are 1/6th scale prepainted snap-fit model kits that can be easily assembled in minutes without any glue or modeling skill.

Tomomi Iwasaki of Kotobukiya's Planning Division revealed, "There will be a hidden theme connecting our Dark Knight Bat-Suit ARTFX Statue and our future release of a totally different Original Bat-Suit ARTFX Statue.
