Side Burn is a recolor of the blue Dodge Viper released early on in the Robots in Disguise line by Hasbro / Takara. It's the same toy, just colored differently.:

I actually prefer this red version to the blue - it just jumps out at you more.

Not too much to say about this toy that wasn't said in the first review. I would just mention that I can finally transform it without looking at the instructions, and I finally did figure out where the gun goes in robot mode.

Yay for me.

:

Grimlock is just plain odd. His transformation is awkward and un precise.

Ultra Magnus is kind of a mess. He is difficult to transform, unsteady and does
 not like to stay together.

In vehicle mode, Ultra Magnus is a car carrier. You can fit 3 standard sized
RID cars onto his trailer, along with a large, awkward looking gun platform.

Probably the coolest feature of Ultra Magnus is his electronic sounds. Depending
on what mode he is in, and where you place his gun, Ultra Magnus makes different
sounds. There is even a different sound when he is combined with Optimus Prime
 to make Omega Prime.

I found transforming Ultra Magnus to be a pain. Things didn't click in where
they should, and once they did, something else would pop out. The whole chest
cavity is pretty flimsy. Some transformers I can transform for years and never
have to look at the book. With this one, I have to break out the instructions
 every time.

Maybe I'm just getting old.

Prowl's transition from Mach Alert went pretty smoothly. The only things changed were the addition of the Autobot logo to the hood, and the coloring of the missiles.

Prowl is easest of the three car brothers to transform. The boosters are removeable from the back and become weapons in robot mode. The legs fold in to become seats. A couple of twists and turns and you're done.
In robot mode, Prowl has a fantastic amount of articulation, rivaling the prior Beast Wars toys.

Prowl rocks. Get him while you can.
:

Side Burn is probably the most difficult to transform out of the three basic autobot cars from this line. But what he lacks in intuitiveness, he makes up in style. He is fantastic looking. He features rubber tires and a weapon that launches a spring loaded missile.

:
