He streaks through the universe, doing flips and dips as the sound of his jet engine fills the air! Even in robot mode, Aerobot has his head in the clouds, with wings made for soaring through the sky and glowing eyes that give him extra sight at night!

Aerobot is one of the cooler Playskook Go-Bots released in the line. It may only be about 6 inches tall, but it has an impressive 12 inch wingspan.

The orange cockpit activates the light and sound feature. He has different sounds depending on which mode the toy is in. In Jet mode, pressing the cockpit gets you jet sounds. In robot mode, you get to hear one of 6 phrases each time the button is pressed. The eyes also light up in this mode.

The jet mode is sleek and agressive, while still being appropriate for kids. The wings can move forward and back a little, and the nose has fold down landing gear.

Transformation is easy, and the robot mode here is excellent. It's articulated at the arms and legs, but you don't need much else with this toy. It just looks cool.

FIRE-BOT is one hot bot who's not afraid to take the heat. With a little help, he bravely changes into a super-charged sports car that blazes into danger, races to the rescue and leaves trouble all wet.

Fire-Bot is a redeco of the Playskool Prowl-Bot. It transforms easily from a Car to a robot, and is reasonably poseable in robot mode. There is no electronic feature in this toy. The paint design is an homage to the G1 autobot Red Alert.

Not much else to say that hasn't already been said about the Go-Bots line. Lots of fun and great aesthetics.

Reptron is a recolor of the Go-Bot Dinobot. Reptron was also re-released with a dark grey color scheme.

The toy is your average Playskool Go-Bot - Chunky and easy to transform. But what I (and my son) love about these are the really great designs. You can tell a lot of love went into these.

This one is from my son's collection. It's a little scuffed from being banged around the toybox, but it has held up well. I just thought it was a great looking toy, so one evening I dug out all his Go-Bots and shot some pictures.

Mirage-Bot is an obvious homage to the G1 Mirage Transformer. These Playskool Transformers are pretty cool - they are wasy for small hands to transform, and they are really nicely designed.

This is actually my sons' toy. When he got it, he was too small to really change it, and he just threw it around, hence the scratches. I'm going to re-introduce him to it now that he's older. Maybe he will take to it more now.

Mirage-Bot comes with 2 figures - a small driver and a robotic dog. We've lost the dog unfortunately, but you can check it out here.

Miragebot also has a sound feature. There 2 sounds in vehicle mode and 5 sounds in Robot mode. Requires 3 "button cell" batteries (included).

This Speed-Bot is a pretty fantastic toy, for both young children and for

Speed-Bot is part of the new Go-Bots line from Tonka (a subsidiary of Hasbro). Not to be confused with the old 80's Gobots line, this line is a line of Transformers geared to the younger crowd. Featuring simple transformation and fun styling, the Go-Bots line was a great way for parents to introduce the concept of transforming robots to their young children.

There are actually 2 Speed-Bot toys in the Go-Bot line - a small racecar, and this dragster.

This Speed-Bot is a pretty fantastic toy, for both young children and for adult collectors. In dragster form, it's about 15 inches long. The front and rear wheels are hard plastic, and they all roll. There is a small drivers' seat that can fit one of the small Go-Bot drivers (sold separately). The really cool thing is that it has a working parachute. Just a flick from the engine compartment and the yellow cloth parachute springs into action.

Transforming into robot mode is simple. Separate the nose of the dragster to form the legs. Open the front foils (with a neat gear action), to form the feet. Pull the engine parts out from the side to form the arms, and then flip the engine hood up to reveal the head. The parachute acts as a cool wing in this mode.

The design of this toy is just awesome. Smooth lines, chunky proportions, and a big smiling robot face. Articulation is almost non-existent, limited to the arms, but for this toy it doesn't matter. It's just got funk written all over it.
