In addition to the dozens of possible arm-swapping combinations, there is still untapped potential that was never used. And this left many people scratching their heads when the series ended in early 2007...

For a name which means "Transcendental Thundering Combination Great-Voyager" in Japanese, I would have expected something a bit more, oh I don't know- transcending from Bandai and PLEX.

I find it hard to complain about things like less poseable elbows or non-poseable legs, and those things can be overlooked because what they did do was excellent!

I’ve said this before of other Super Sentai toys: if it wasn’t for the benefits of their transformations, I would not have gone for Gougou Gattai Vehicle #5- Gougou Jet as a standalone. Its multiple uses, however, make it a must have for the Gougou Vehicle line, so I recommend it.

For the overall appearance, it's difficult to swallow, but the functions of each put together help that out a little, and make getting the DX toys to make the Chou Gougou Gattai Super DaiBouken worthwhile.

Gougou Crane is similar to Gougou Gattai Vehicle #2 - Gougou Shovel in several ways, but only in general appearance.

Gougou Mixer continues as the third Gougou Gattai Vehicle in 'œBoukenger'?, dressed in a comfortable if somewhat unusual green plastic coloring.

Gougou Shovel isn't nearly as much of a let down like the DX Gougou Gattai DaiBouken was when I first saw it. Details like the pistons and variety of joints make it a favorite so far.

Gougou Drill is an articulate looking vehicle which is much more appropriately sized in comparison to most of the other Gougou Vehicles seen in the DX Gougou Gattai DaiBouken.

The 2006 series - "Gougou Sentai Boukenger" ["Thundering Taskforce Adventure-Rangers"] - is a tribute to all that have come before, with old and new styles mixed together.

The morpher for the 2006 Sentai Series Boukenger is called the Accellular. It looks like a cell phone and has a cover that rotates 360 degrees around a central hub in the center of the morpher.
