Review: MG Model Kit Strike Freedom Gundam

Although Gundam SEED Destiny came to a close more than a year ago, Bandai has continued to remind us that they are far from done with the series and every aspect of its legacy. They do so with their recent Master Grade scale offering of the Strike Freedom Gundam.

Review: MG Model Kit Aile Strike Gundam

I go to buy tools and walk away with a model

Review: MG Model Kit Freedom Gundam

Price of model: 44.99 USD, price of supplies: 32.55 USD, price for replacement parts: 30 USD. Waiting three months for the replacement parts order to be found, shipped, delivered and completing the model said time from the time you originally got it: priceless.

Review: HG Model Kit Strike Noir Gundam

With the SEED Destiny television series over, a new chapter of Side-Stories for the Cosmic Era would reintroduce the Strike. In the new micro-series, Gundam SEED CE-73 Stargazer, new incarnations of the Strike, Duel, and Buster have emerged. In this review, I look at the first, the GAT-X105E Strike Noir Gundam.

Review: HG Model Kit Legend Gundam

The model kit line for Gundam SEED Destiny brought us some reinventions of classic designs, the Zaku, the Gouf, and the Dom and upgrades to some of the SEED designs like the Freedom, and Justice. Coming in late to the series was another reinvention from the first series, the ZGMF-X666S Legend.

Review: HG Model Kit Infinite Justice Gundam

When Gundam SEED Destiny came to a close earlier this year, there were a few loose ends, namely in the model kit department. To me it was a matter of quality control, but there was a serious degree of absentee MS. While virtually every machine to gracefully blow up in the show was developed in a 1/144 scale form, there were some that never made it to 1/100 scale.

Review: Providence Gundam

Believe it or not, the Providence is actually much thinner around the waist than the animated version. The size of the Dragoon pack is much smaller too, and the arms are rather narrow. That doesn't mean that the kit didn't have a fair amount of bulk to it. Considering it comes with a full array of Dragoon units, and its hand held weapons, this is one big bad machine for the series.

Review: Gundam Astray Red Frame Second L

The kit itself is identical to the original Blue Frame model released by Bandai. Its packaging was a solid red box with the GUNDAM SEED MSV logo branded dead center.

Review: Strike Freedom Gundam

The first kit I got out of the Gundam SEED Destiny line, and long overdue to be built. I started work on this kit when it first came out, but never got around to finishing it much before the past few weeks.

Review: HG Model Kit Gundam Astray Blue Frame Second L

After Bandai's successful release of the MBF-P02 Red Frame in the 1/100
scale, they decided it was time that its sibling unit, the Blue Frame got the
same treatment. However unlike its simplistic sibling, they went with the upgraded
form; The Second L.
