The first of a new line of Chogokin had been released, and it was in America, right under our noses. Who knew?

Back in the day, most sentai figures had some metal in them, but they eventually switched to all plastic. The Megaranger Chogokin figures were some of the last of a dying breed.

The toy was really exellent, but I would love to see what they could do with this toy today. Perhaps if it was wireless, and a little quieter...

This is the diecast Voltron toy released by Trendmasters in 1997. It was released as a teaser to Voltron 3D, and the new toy line that would follow it. It is amazing to think that this is actually the fifth time this toy has been issued.
