As part of the Beetleborgs Force line, in 1997, Bandai created an all new toy of the Blue Stinger character by taking a toy from a Japanese Metal Hero show called Janperson, and giving it a reclolor and a Blue Stinger Head. The Result is the B Force Blue Stinger Beetleborg.

The toy is about 12" tall, highly articulated, and comes with a variety of weapons and accessories, although a fraction of its original Japanese Counterpart.

This toy featured a light up chest gimmick, powered by 2 "AA" batteries. You can remove the chest plate to get a better view of the lights. Some of the other neat things you can do with this toy:

The right fist launches off

The right knee opens to reveal a missile launcher

The left thigh has a hidden gun panel

The left forearm has a hidden compartment that houses a weapon

The chest panel is removable

He has a gun that fits in his holster

The toy may have had more accessories and features, but I got him loose, and there is precious little information available about this toy. He is a tough one to find, for sure. If anyone has a box photo, let me know.
