Its footage was used in the American series Power Rangers: Lightspeed Rescue. (Wikipedia)

DX Liner Boy comes form the series Rescue Task Force GOGO V, which aired in Japan from 1999-2000. In the USA, this toy was called Max Solarzord from Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue.

The toy is about 11" tall in robot mode, and is all plastic. Some stickers need to be applied. The toy is molded in color, and has some great gold chrome parts that really make this piece stand out. There is virtually no articulation - Liner Boy can only move his arms. He comes with a reflective gold shield weapon.

In vehicle mode, (called Max Shuttle), Liner Boy acts as a solar powered space shuttle, that can also connect with the DX Grand Liner. The wings can fold up to act as a train car on the ground.

On its own, Liner Boy is a mediocre toy. It doesn't do much, and isn't much to look at. But the real fun begins when you combine it with other toys from GoGo V. Victory Robo and Liner Boy can combine to form Max Liner Robo. What a crazy beautiful mess that becomes. You can also add Liner Boy to the front of Grand Liner, to form an even longer train.

Liner Boy came over to the USA as Max Solarzord, with relatively few changes.
There are minor paint differences, such as silver paint on the arms, and some
minor sticker changes, most notably, the removal of the word "Maxliner" from
  the wings.

DX Victory Robo (full name Victory Robo Emergency Combination Chogokin DX) comes from the sentai series Rescue Task Force GOGO V. When the show was brought to America, it was known as the Lightspeed Megazord from Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue.

Although the toy has a GD chogokin designation; there really isn't a lot of metal in it. Metal content is in the arm joints, feet, and leg connectors. This small bit of metal gives the toy a solid weighty feel.

Victory Robo is a combining robot, made of 5 smaller vehicles, called 99machines.

Red Ladder - A ladder truck. Arms can fold out from bed to act as ladders.

Green Hover - Green jet / submarine

Blue Thrower - Blue fire truck

Yellow Armor - Hazmat vehicle. Back door opens and becomes a claw.

Pink Aider - Ambulance. Back door opens.

You can combine all 5 vehicles to form the Victory Robo, or combine Blue Thrower, Yellow Armor and Pink Aider to form the Victory Walker, which is basically a walking tower that has cannons for spraying water.

Transformation is simple and intuitive. Red Ladder becomes the chest and arms, while Blue Thrower becomes the lower torso and upper legs. Yellow Armor and Pink Aider become the feet, while Green Hover forms the head. Victory Robo also comes with a sword called Bravor Sword. The sword is a soft gold plastic.

Victory Robo can interact and combine with other toys in the series. All the 99 machines can be stored in the bays of the Grand Liner (known as the Supertrain Megazord domestically). You can also combine Victory Robo with the Max Shuttle to form the Max Victory Robo.

DX Victory Robo is one of my all time favorite sentai toys. It is easy to transform, aesthetically pleasing, solid, and can be combined with other toys.

This is a scaled up version of Victory Robo from GoGo V. American audiences know
it is the Lightspeed Megazord from Power Rangers Lightspeed.

It's about 4 inches
taller than the DX robot, and made out of polyethylene, the same material
as Jumbo Machinders. It fully transforms from vehicle to robot mode. It can
hold a sword, and the arms even extend, just like the original.

Each vehicle has been scaled up by the bootleggers, but some of the detail
has been lost. They also scaled up the stickers. It amazes me the lengths
that bootleggers go to knock off an existing product.

The toy comes on a giant blister card, with scenes from the show and even
the chogokin number printed on it. Along with Victory Robo comes 5 rangers,
all the same mold but in different colors. The figures are actually G.I. Joe-type
figures with generic weapons. Very very cheap. The back of the card has the
  full transformation instructions.

As bootlegs go, this one is pretty cool. It's a little floppy, but looks great
  in your sentai collection.
