But still, how cool would it be to watch our videos on a plane, in a car, at the beach etc..

So now, our videos are now available on iTunes, for your subscribing pleasure.
Who knows, there may be non-review content that appears there as well.....

We've got a Group on Flickr! - Join the group and your photos will appear on CollectionDX!

Flickr groups are collections of photos bound together by a common interest. If you have a Flickr account, and you upload toy pictures, why not add those pictures to the CollectionDX group? When you add pictures the 5 most recent photos added to the group will display on the bottom left corner of CollectionDX pages.

You can find the group at: http://www.flickr.com/groups/collectiondx/

First you join the group, then in your photostream you select the images you want to add and select "send to group"

I thought this would be a neat way for CDX members to get to know each other better and show off their photography skills. Of course, we would still love to see your collection photos in our Gallery.

Thanks,

This also is the first video shot with our new video camera, the first shot in my new house, and the first video shot in widescreen.

YouTube Partner Program

I thought this would also be a good time to announce that YouTube has selected CollectionDX to be part of its YouTube Partner Program. YouTube invites content providers that consistently provide regular original quality content to be part of a revenue sharing initiative.

In English that means, we will now get PAID by YouTube. How cool is that?

In becoming a YouTube Partner, you will now see advertisements on our YouTube video pages, and also a small in-video advertisement on each video. These advertisements only appear when videos are viewed on the YouTube site, and don't appear when embedded on other sites. CollectionDX gets paid for each video view that has advertisements. This will allow us to grow even more!

CDX Tweaks

I decided to move the advertising down towards the bottom of the news pages - they squish the pages too much when viewed on smaller monitors. For now they are still on Article Pages like this one. We'll be changing around the placement of some advertising in the near future, so if there is something you don't like or want to comment on, let us know!

Now go watch some videos!

:
