I updated the ebay search box on the bottom of review pages, let me know if you have any issues with it.

A few CDX updates

- RSS feeds have now eliminated the"Summary:" from the front of each teaser - if you don't know what this is then ignore it.
- RSS feeds now show in-line images with the full path - once again, ignore if you don't know
- CDX is now on iTunes. To subscribe, you must have iTunes on your computer, then click itpc://feeds.feedburner.com/CollectiondxVideo. I will be adding a button soon. These are video podcasts only, and I will show you how to convert your video to an itunes friendly format and add to your page.

I've added a select box when creating content called Media. When creating reviews, if you are adding audio or video, select the appropriate item(s). This will enable us to keep track of video reviews and such.

Comments, questions, and suggestions of the banners that appear at the top of CDX

I've begun adding metadata to all CDX content. This was something that I thought was done automatically but now I realize had not gone in the pages.

What the Metadata does is provide search engines with additional data to match up pages with queries. I actually think we have been penalized for not having metadata.

So, when you are creating a review (or other content), expand the metadata field and fill it with a brief description of the content. I have been taking this from somewhere in the body of the content, but you can do that or write a new one. The only people who see this are search engine users.

In reviews, the Meta Tag field is located inconveniently after the Teaser Image box. Meta tags are limited to 255 characters. You can paste more, but they will be cut off.

One thing that's been bugging me for a while now- or at least since you allowed me to start posting my own reviews- is that I always have to manually enter in every single html code or-whatever-it's-called. And I either try to insert it as i write th intial review, or I add it in as I'm copy/pasting the text.
So, does the CDX program have an option to allow buttons that automatically insert some of these text modification things? Change centering on text, add horizontal split lines, breaks in paragraphs? Or even just emphasizing and bolding!?

I'm really excited to see a forum here, even if it's only an admin forum. I've wanted a full forum for all the users for ages!

Hello all, here are the recent CDX updates

- Fixed line breaks in comments
- made comment box show by default, rather than have to click to reply
- added forum. Forum is available to people with the roles of admin or Trusted Reviewer. Only active forum is CDX administrator forum. You will see a block on the lower left corner with new forum topics - this block is only shown to those roles, and is not visible when logged out. New comments to forum topics WILL however show in the recent comments box. So this forum is publicly viewable, just not advertised.
- Added some tags to allowed HTML in the filtered html setting.
