Saint Seiya

So what do I think about my first SCM? Is all the raving that Adam does justified? Yeah, I think so - especially if you are a fan of Saint Seiya. The figure is dynamic and full of metal, and when you get a whole bunch of them on the shelf they just look great together.

I finally round off the Surplice reviews of the resurrected Gold Saint with Aquarius Camus. HD Video included.

Awwwwwww, Seiya broke his Cloth...

Hands down, the biggest of the Saint Cloth Myth releases and possibly the heaviest release to date. I take a look at an earlier Saint Cloth Myth release, Taurus Aldebaran. Includes HD VIDEO.

Capricorn Shura (Surplice) is next up in my latest round of Saint Cloth Myth reviews.

Too much Macross? Fine, how about a bunch of Saint Cloth Myth instead? First up in this batch is the Hades version of Gemini Saga.

Saint Cloth Myth started in November of 2003 with the release of Pegasus Seiya. Like clockwork there has been at least one new figure added to the line every other month for 6 years. Can you believe they are just getting around to bringing the series resident damsel-in-distress to 7 inch tall glory?

Last year when I reviewed my Spiral Zone Saint Seiya Sagittarius figure I bemoaned the fact that I was never able to purchase the companion piece to it, the Spiral Zone Saint Seiya Gemini Saga. After the review I made it a priority to locate what I though was the last Spiral Zone figure I needed to complete my collection.

I really dig the more ornate designs of the God Cloths of the Saint Seiya series. Not only do they look cool but when the God’s enter the Saint Seiya story big stuff is happening. So the characters are 1) dramatic and b) cool looking. So this time around I am reviewing the latest release in Bandai’s Saint Cloth Myth line.

This time around I take a look at Aries Sion from the Saint Cloth Myth line from Bandai. BIG SPOILER WARNINGS.... You have been warned.

I've been quiet on the Saint Seiya front here at CDX for a bit but fear not, there is tons of cool stuff coming over the next few months so to get things going again I have a review of Gold Saint Leo Aiolia and his Appendix release. Spoilers exist for those who have not finished watching the series. This is the only warning you get...

Okay, we all know Atom normally handles these reviews, but I was intrigued with the figures and he let me take this one! Thanks to him and our sponsors at Angolz for this review.
Oh, and it sure didn't hurt that the character's Indian! :P

So I finally got my hands on a Virgo Shaka after being out of print for a while. One of my favorite characters in the series but was it worth the wait?

I'll be honest the Poseidon Arc was not a part of the story I was overly interested in personally but as my Saint Cloth Myth collection grows I AM interested in collecting the various Gods as they become available so I did get my hands on the Royal Ornament Edition of Poseidon which runs almost double the price of the standard release.

Where as the Spiral Zone Kamen Rider Black was pure toy and The SFG Spiral Zone line proper was a fine balance between toy and model kit, the Spiral Zone Saint Seiya Sagittarius and Gemini were pure model kit.
