Final Fantasy VIII (ファイナルファンタジーVIII, Fainaru Fantajī Eito) is a console and computer role-playing game created by Square Co. for the Sony PlayStation and Microsoft Windows-based PCs. It is the eighth installment of the main Final Fantasy series, the second to be released for the PlayStation, and the second to be ported to Windows.
