I think when most people think of the name Igor in relation to old monsters movies, they mistakenly believe that was the name of Dr. Frankenstein's assistant. Not so. (His name was Fritz.) Igor instead was a crazy hunchback who found the body of the Frankenstein monster and tried to use it to blackmail the son of Frankenstein into transplanting his brain into the body of the monster! This was one of Bela Lugosi's better roles, in my opinion. This toy depicting the character has 8 points of articulation, but none beneath the waist. It features a base with an engraved nameplate, a cloth apron, a torch and a couple tools that can be stored on the belt. Another nice looking figure that makes a great companion piece to the Son Of Frankenstein monster toy.
