Grimlock is one of four robots that combine to form Landfill. He is a slightly modified version of the Japanese Build Hurricane, part of the Build King team.

Tall and lanky, Grimlock transforms from robot to backhoe. Like all toys in the Robots in Disguise line, it's an interesting combination of Beast Wars style articulation with classic Transformer detail. In vehicle mode, Grimlock features an articulated crane arm that reveals a hidden spring loaded claw.

Grimlock is just plain odd. His transformation is awkward and un precise. Things don't snap in place, and you only really know if you've got it right by looking at the picture on the box. The claw arms movement is limited. It's just not an intuitive toy. Personally, I don't like him, and I wouldn't have bothered with him if he wasn't required to make Landfill.

Grimlock is a vital component of Landfill, forming the arms and upper back.
