Kigurimix are a series of bottle cap figures released by Tomy in Japan. Each figure is about 2 inches tall, and is permanently attached to a base. When activated,a Kigurumi will dance along with music, or with each other! Kigurumix figures respond to sound, whether it is a clap of the hand or a techno beat. Please see our feature article for more background information.

Norimonoman is a panda vehicle that can hold one Kigurimix figure. It is part of the Kigurumiman series, a sub-line of Kigurimix that features sentai-styled figures with its own backstory.

This particular panda is a Warumono-type. Waru, in Japanese means "Bad". There is also a good guy version, called Iimono-type. Each panda comes with the same accessories:

  • Sticker sheet
  • Tail pipes
  • Steering wheel
  • Coin box
  • Pull string
No Kigurumiman is included with the panda.

You attach the ball end of the pull string to the panda's mouth, and when it moves it has a kind of wobble action. The tail of the panda is also the same kind of ball connector, so you can connect a string of pandas together to make a long Kigurumiman panda chain.

The sticker sheet has no particular guide, so most stickers can be placed wherever you want. The steering wheel goes into a groove in the cockpit, but has to be removed to fit a Kigurumiman.

The coin box is puzzling. Is the Norimonoman meant to be a coin operated battle panda? Or is it just an amusement ride?
