That means they will never make more of combattler v? damn that sucks .... well atleast they could put a good price for it because its very expensive for a nine years old toy, i must buy one in the near future before i never see it again....

My guess is they will re-engineer combattler for a future release

Do you think that is the future of the line for Bandai? To re-engineer all of the older figures? Or to move forward with the modern robots from the 1990's?

With Reideen here and Daimos and the new T-28 on the way, what other major super robots are not done? Dairugger and Golion are the only ones that spring to mind. And some of the previewed releases are from the SRW Video Game...

I do wish Bandai would let go of these reissues and bring out some really good retro stuff like Daltanious, the vintage Jeeg, Daitarn 3, Danguard, Baldios etc etc. Super Robot wars is cool but those are figures i will never buy. The old issues of these robots are widely available from all major auction sites to date. And combattler was one of the most disappointing anyway... At least CM's is getting licences to some really long awaited stuff, can't wait to get gakeen....

One reason Bandai tick me off is this constant reissue stuff makes you feel like a fool when you bought the first release for too much then after the market flood the price plumets and you are like darn... wish I had just waited.

this is true, the timing of the re-release is annoying, because right when you're ready to pay a premium for it online, they re-release it for the original price and it's everywhere. But at the same time, it's 99% of the time how I can pay retail (or close to it) for some of these SOCs in the US. Sorry, i'm not going to pay $300+ for Voltes V a week or two after it came out, just "because." I welcome the re-issues; it keeps prices down to where they should be, and gets new fans into these great shows of the past.

If you collect toys to make a profit, then regular SOCs are not really the way to go at all. If you collect for the L-O-V-E, then you should welcome the re-issues. If you collect for both love and the money, then just get all the magazine exclusives and limited editions- there's plenty there to keep you occupied, and they hold their value very well.

Plus, some of them are really better, like Xabungle's exclusive...

Godsigma, Daltanias, and Dairugger XV have yet to be worked on, have nostalgia factor,so they should have more intrest shown in them before newer stuff. Reissues at least are not expected to have any higher prices than earlier releases.

I would much like to see Godsigma reworked as a SOC.. And with the likes of Godmars & Battlefever the thought has to be on the table somewhere..

I was expecting a brand new model of Tetsujin 28 !!!

There's a wide hole between old Bandai GX issue and unrea$onable (but so coooool !) DX-28 that needs an intermediate release...

... many missing ones I´d like to see:

Trider G7, Daitarn III, Daikengo, Mechander - and of course Gardian (since they did Baikanfu..) , Golion, Godsigma and Diapolon
