Cross-Cultural Traffic: Toying with Brands, Borders and Bootlegs
Please join us for a lively talk on Korean toys and their fascinating origins in the interplay between Korean, Japanese and American pop cultures. This panel is presented in conjunction with our current traveling exhibition, Toy Stories: Souvenirs from Korean Childhood. Panelists:

Events  ...unfortunately I won't be able to make it. Seminars like these are always so cool. You should write up and post a synopsis afterward, as I am sure the discussions will be very interesting.  Better yet, get video! ;) "This must be settled the way nature intended....with a vicious, bloody fight!"  I literally just turned down a chance to go to NY that week. I also missed Eric Nakamura lecturing at my school a few months back. Rats.  Aiight, well, it looks like I'll be able to make this afterall! I'm on "vacation" during the week, so I may be able to head to NY with a buddy to check this out! Be there and look for me.
