Thanks for having me on, Andrew. I love how you made me sound like I knew what I was talking about. Seriously though Dinagiga has the bestest, stupidest plot I've seen so far. Just wish they'd have made more. Could've done with the laugh... P.S. Harlock is NOT a Nazi!!! Ok... I guess it's true now. Harlock isn't a Nazi. -and Super Dimensional Cavalry Southern Cross still has a huge fan base made of kind, sensible people. -and MSIGLOO wasn't pro-Zeon enough. -and the Matrix didn't borrow _anything_ from Megazone 23. -and we're going to get a good Robotech sequel from the guys Harmony Gold outsource to. -and Underdog really did deserve his own live-action movie. Live-action "Underdog"... ouch. (BTW, was that another fine, fine example of Eisner's administration before he left office?) I never saw Underdog, but I could smell the reviews on IMDB a mile away. The preview I saw in the theaters was bad too. Why does everyone always blame one person when a film tarnishes the silver screen? Even "the devil" himself Carl Macek had a team of 8 writers. Hmm... I can't name one of those writers off the top of my head. I can't name one person who worked on Underdog either. I guess it's just easier to blame 1 person than the 20 or so planners who are really responsible. Getting more blame than you deserve is just a perk of leadership, I guess. FYI, Studio DEEN did animation on the Patlabor movie. -Jeremy |
