 Robby used to give me the standalone image when providing a banner, but now he just sends the banner. I haven't updated because of that. ------------------------------  I finally went and looked at his stuff on DeviantArt, BTW... great work! Does he do commissions, or does he only take suggestions? I was just wondering: would it be inappropriate to have a banner in the future dedicated to the late, great Arthur C. Clarke? I suppose that visibly you'd only know him because of the film "2001: A Space Odyssey", but is there anything else that we could relate to as far as CDX? Unfortunately, they never made toys from 2001, so its unlikely we will see a banner for him. ------------------------------  How about a Go-Lion, or Thundercats banner, Mum-rah would be a good one. l8r I'm just a soldier, I can't be a leader. I know we already got the five separated Lion mecha from Go-Lion in 2006 [for the Masterpiece release]. As for the second... not sure. Would Thundercats be, em... an 'appropriate' topic for CDX since it's all-American in origin? (Or was it another dubbed anime? I don't know; I never saw it, nor do I know anything about it.)  Personally, I would have no problem whatsoever with a Thundercats banner. I loved Thundercats as a kid. And there's other stuff on the site that's all-American too. (Avatar, GI Joe, Monsters, etc..). I think the only drawback is that there really is no tie-in with the site. Like, usually the banners have something to do with what's going on that month. Maybe I'll buy a Thundercats' Lair and/or Mummra's Tomb Fortress to review, just to give Robby a reason to draw it.. ;) "This must be settled the way nature intended....with a vicious, bloody fight!" Yay for Mecha Godzilla! Though his second incarnation from the '90s is my favorite version of the three. |

I just saw the new God Mars banner. Looks great! (I really wanna get my hands on that SOC...!)
