Suggestions for new features

Josh,

One thing that's been bugging me for a while now- or at least since you allowed me to start posting my own reviews- is that I always have to manually enter in every single html code or-whatever-it's-called. And I either try to insert it as i write th intial review, or I add it in as I'm copy/pasting the text.
So, does the CDX program have an option to allow buttons that automatically insert some of these text modification things? Change centering on text, add horizontal split lines, breaks in paragraphs? Or even just emphasizing and bolding!?

Theres a bunch of editors and plug ins that do this. i can look into the feasability of this but my concern is that it adds yet another layer of complexity to adding a review. What happens if the wrong input typeis selected? Can we decide what fields it works on (ie not on comments?)

One interim option would be to install a firefox plugin that will allow you to enter HTML into any textfield. Check out http://wysuwyg.mozdev.org/ and see what you think of it.

Um, I already use Firefox... does that help in any way?

At this point, I'd say focus on the most-frequently-used bold and italics. I mean, you should be able to just highlight a word or phrase (read: click-and-drag), and then hit either of these two, and Boom! done.

Yes, install one of the mentioned extensions, and then follow the usage instructions.

New suggestion:

Since it's kinda hard for everyone except the highest levels of the admin. to know how many people have visited our reviews without asking, I was wondering if we could incorporate a [five-point] scale of some kind at the end that everyone (including non-members) could vote on? I mean, I have to beg in order to get feedback on what I cover, but in just the last two weeks, I've seen three reviews get over 10 comments in the space of days each! It's rather depressing, and it makes me feel out of touch with the 'fan base' when I hear absolutely nothing.
I don't even need a count of how many people actually read it [for now], I just wanna know if I'm going in the right direction or not!

There is no possible reason why it should be this difficult...

I've been spending almost two days trying to find official MSRP on a few Dlx Megazords, but I can't find them! They're too old to be advertised in online toy stores, which is usually the first place I look.
I'm looking for prices to these two, both from "PR Lost Galaxy" (1998):

  • Deluxe Stratoforce Megazord
  • Deluxe Astro Galactic Megazord

Someone please help!

Say, Josh, in the future, how could I put a shout-out to the general CDX population if I have a question, without posting inside an unrelated review [again]?
