NYTF08: Hasbro - Indiana Jones

Indy is back and he brought the toys with him. In case you have been living under a rock there is indeed a new Indiana Jones film coming this Memorial Day weekend. So let’s dive in, but first the silly stuff.

Yes, it is indeed “Taters of the Lost Ark”. Yep, shark, jump…. You get the point.

Roleplay accessories include an FX laden Indy’s whip and Mutt’s Rapier and knives.

Even Indy can’t hold back the onslaught of Mighty Muggs to its franchise.

Now for the cool stuff, 3 3/4th scale action figures. There will be a mail in promotion for this line as well. Right now it’s a mystery figure that supposedly will ruin the surprise of the film. 5 proofs of purchases will get you the mysterious character before the film opens.

Deluxe figures and vehicles will be sold separately covering all 4 films in the Indy mythos and recreating key scenes from the films.

And last it's Mustafar...um... I mean it's the Akator Playset. Nope, no re-using molds here.

We have over 25 images in the gallery. You should go there and look at them.

Is the little truck next the Temple of Doom Mighty Mugg dude (which is the first figure I've seen that comes with a beating heart as an accessory) a Titanium toy? If so, it looks really, really good.

I do think it's a Titanium. They didn't mention it at the time of the showing and it's not in th epress kit info. But yeah that sure looks like a Titanium series vehicle.

Yeah I thought the beating heart was cute myself. :)

I think it's the beating heart that sells it.
