Beginning Spring 2008, the Dragon Ball toy line is reborn and poised to recapture the excitement with exclusive collectible figures never before released in the U.S. Featuring one-of-a-kind Japanese-style packaging, the new lineup is sure to meet the ravenous demand from fans of all ages for Bandai America’s return to the toy brand since 2000. 2.5” ULTIMATE SPARK FIGURES These highly detailed miniature figures, which come two per package, have never been released in the U.S. from Japan. 4” EXTREME DRAGON FIGURE SETS Young boys can build the ultimate Dragon Ball Z toy collection with these exclusive action figures, with all-new body sculpts for the U.S. market. Featuring some of the most popular characters from the show, each fiercely-styled 4” figure comes with an exclusive collectible character piece. Collect all seven across the lineup to form a freestanding and colorful Shenron the Dragon figure. Character versions include
2.5” FLASH CHANGER FIGURES Kids can transform their miniature Dragon Ball Z characters into Super Saiyan mode right before their eyes! This unique set of two 2.5” figures allows boys to morph Goku, Vegeta and Frieza into their battle-ready versions by slamming the ornamental Flash Changer over each character. Then watch as the new powered up figure pops out of the stand, which has a highly-stylized and colorful design and doubles as a display. The detailed figures can be played and displayed with or without the stand. Character versions include
8” POWER BOOST FIGURES These large-scale and bold figures offer a unique super-powered action feature exclusive to Bandai America’s new Fall lineup. Super Saiyan 1 Goku and Vegeta come with three attachable energy shield body pieces. Kids can squeeze their legs to see them pump and flex their chest and shoulder muscles in their powered up mode. Namek Battle Piccolo has stretchable rubber arms that can be detached from his body to instantly trigger the re-growth of a much stronger arm, just like the way he regenerates his lost limbs in the show. KAMEHAMEHA WRIST BANDS The very first role-play toy ever created for the brand, this set of Goku’s wrist bands allows kids to mimic the powerful moves of their favorite hero, the greatest defender against evil on Earth! As they punch and snap, flashing lights, battle sound effects and unique character phrases are triggered. An infrared sensor on each band measures the strength of each move, so when enough power is accumulated, kids can perform Goku’s winning final attack moves. With Goku’s signature Kamehameha, evil no longer stands a chance! ENERGY BATTLE SET Now kids can re-create their own battles that they see on the TV show at home with their friends! This exclusive role-play set comes with two 6.5” Goku and Piccolo figures, and two hand controllers. The figures attach to the controllers so they can interact with one another via infrared sensors. This allows two opponents to battle face-to-face up to 10 feet in distance. Three LED lights on the controllers tell kids when it is time to make their final attack moves, while the action sounds and score tracker let them know how well their character is doing in the fight.
