Right, right, right- I remember that now. He was called Cruellock. I'm hoping that a few of the Terrorcons from the "...Energon" line will be repainted as well like some of the Omnicons were for the 2007 movie line.

Masers were the predecessors to lasers, BTW, though they are completely different technologies.

Yah,they're called "masers" because they shoot a sort of microwave laser (I think,could be wrong).
Anyway,I'm sure that's what he's supposed to be,since around the same time,you might remember there was a little "scout class" dinosaur Transformer that was clearly supposed to be American Godzilla. I don't remember his name,but it was a play on Grimlock,like "Devillock" or something.
