Oh, very, I assure you! I

Oh, very, I assure you! I didn't even know that that 'repaint' was in there until after I had got it; I was so impressed with what I had seen online. I grabbed it, almost literally, the next day that I first saw it online at LEGO's Shop@Home site. (Click on the Themes tab, and then look for the "Exo-Force" icon.)

Speaking of S@H, the first wave of 2008 sets are already in stores! I have no info on the storyline for this year, but the battle will be taking place somewhere in the deep jungles of Sentai Mountain, with Exo-Force's new Battle Machines taking on animalistic styles of coloring and features, while the evil robot army's Battle Machines are more insect-like in appearance.
While the EXO-Codes will be making a return, the new gimmick/special feature that they will all be sharing is that one of the weapons pods that they all carry will be able to separate to become a unique independently-operated attack drone! (Think of those LEGO pod mini Creator sets they sold there for a little while, but designed specifically for "Exo-Force".) We're also gonna be seeing some new parts in the LEGO System specifically designed for "Exo-Force", such as a thin tapered 'wing' panel with a pointed end. Looks interesting!
Also, the [dreaded] ball-and-socket joints will be making a return to the line as well, though not quite as much in sets +$20.00 as they were in 2007... I think. (I miss those Light Bricks with the fiber-optic cords from the first year; those things were awesome!)
