I've been quite absent from

I've been quite absent from the boards and sites I love so much due to work, but I just wanted to say that I've really enjoyed doing the banners (thanks for the mention Dave :-P) and wanted to thank Josh for giving me the chance to create new art each month and displaying it up there. It's quite an honor really. And thank you guys for your kind remarks on them too. It's nice to know when y'all like what I do. :-D

That said, due to a few set backs that I've recently had, December's banner should be up later this week.

Again, thanks Josh and everyone else for making CDX as great as it is!

I just want to thank Josh and everyone involved with CDX for providing such a nice venue for keeping up with the latest in Japanese toys and anime and such, and for giving us a place to speak our minds on those topics. Here's looking forward to another amazing year at CDX and congrats once again on the book!

Once again, Josh, thank you

Once again, Josh, thank you for your support, and for creating and maintaining this wonderful site! Being able to share my collection and knowledge is a great feeling, and I am honored to be part of the CDX team. Now, if only I could turn this reviewing thing I do into a job that pays...
BTW, I do have a wishlist. I just don't have an Amazon account, or know how to post it if anyone's interested...

Love all around!

I'm really pleased with the growth CDX has seen over this past year, and I'm also very pleased to have been at least a small part of it. It's been wild and fun and just really cool to see all the action behind the scenes.
Hehe...Josh was, in fact, the first "local guy" I met in person in this toy-collecting community. We met for lunch at Bison County in Waltham, MA (nearby the famed site of Mr. Big's Toyland), where he convinced me that he and the rest of the guys weren't freaks and that I should join them at the East Coast Chogokin Summit back in '05.
While the jury may still be out on whether or not we're all freaks, I haven't looked back! Since meeting Josh, I've met so many of the other guys and those connections have helped me so much to focus my passion for this crazy hobby.
So, thank you, Josh, for giving me this opportunity to write for the site. I definitely value our friendship and writing about toys is a blast! Believe me, if there were more hours in the day, I'd be pumping out a new review every night! It's all about the love.
Thanks to the rest of the CDX staff, especially Nekrodave and Atom. Your support and friendship has, again, been instrumental in allowing me to prioritize toy collecting in my life. If it weren't for folks like you and Josh, more hours of my day would be spent worrying about work, retirement plans, mortgage payments and boring junk like that! ;) You guys have helped me go for what I'm passionate about!
And of course, thanks to the CDX readers! Over the past year or so, I've gotten some nice appreciations via e-mail from readers and they've been great! I really love writing and it's always nice to hear that people are enjoying reading my reviews. Keep up the comments and suggestions!
Well I appreciate the kind words Josh but I think I should be thanking you for the amazing year and half I have had with the site.
First the readers- You guys make this worth it. Being stopped at events and being told that my reviews do shape what you the readers try and buy makes it all worth while.
Since writing for CDX I have done some amazing things....
I've been to Toyfair. I have always wanted to go to Toyfair and get the behind the scenes scoop.
I got ringside on press passes to Kaiju Big Battle. An experience one must take in at least once in their life.
I got to be flown out to Santa Monica by Activision to test out the Transformers game weeks before it's release (which led to me meeting Peter Cullen/Optimus Prime and having a genuine one on one moment with him as well as getting into a 5 minute conversation with Transformers Producer Tom De Santo on the merits of revamping and redoing the Greatest American Hero for the 21st century. :)
There is a real high level of legitimacy that comes with being involved with CDX and it has opened doors for me I never thought would open. Over the last few months my position with CDX has opened doors of communication with online content makers I truly love and respect as I pick their brains for tips and info on launching our own Video cast.
Needless to say I have been having a lot of fun and I KNOW we've only just begun.
Lastly, I need to thank Josh B. Josh this has been one of the most creative and rewarding years of my life and I thank you for letting me run wild the way you have. Words don't do the emotion justice.... Thanks.

Thanks to you Josh, as well as all the other contributors and readers.

But, let's not forget Robby Musso's tremendous work on the banners, too! Always well done and in his own style, no matter the subject matter.

Lastly, please tell me you were a part of that Xandau parade?!?! Please. You know you wanted to be.

"This must be settled the way nature intended....with a vicious, bloody fight!"
