"Movie color"!?

This thing only ever appeared in the movie. If this is the "movie color" version, then what did Atom review!?

Good question.

My guess would be that the first version had more series-oriented coloring- blue, white, black, yellow, and red. This new version, however, seems to have a more movie-oriented apps. If you notice, while highly detailed compared to its TV counterpart, the movie SDF-1 has a rather bland color scheme- silver/light gray, and pale gold. This gives it a more worn, "weathered" and less toy-like look, making it more of a space battleship. The crew can't be out there to both repatch the hull and reapaint the siding like you can a Destroid or Valkyrie!

I'll still not get this, as I like my used Matchbox version a lot more, and it's both cheaper and bigger!
