Frankenstein
Sideshow Toys has really set the standard when it comes to toys of classic monsters.
Many toys do not look as good close up as they do from afar, but these are just the opposite. From the sadness in the eyes to the hint of ferocity in the mouth, this is the toy that made me realise I had to have every figure in this line of 8" toys. Both the sculpt and paint job are top notch (though there is a bit of overspray by the fingernails on mine). There are 11 points of articulation, a display stand to which you can chain the monster via an included plastic accessory and a flaming torch thrown in for good measure.
Frankenstein was also released in a Silver Screen (black and white) Edition and a glow in the dark version. This is a great figure for both the hardcore monster collector as well as the novice. Easy to find, easy to afford and especially easy to enjoy. Submitted by NekroDave on 19 February, 2005 - 14:46. |
