Wow Josh. Thank you. Personally and Professionally had it not been for you, I'd probably be just another Gundam nerd. Now I'm a published Gundam Nerd with a website behind him. I want to say that my knowledge base is only thanks to those that came before me and what I've learned first hand.

While I've been behind on getting you some new material, I just want to say that I promise some great things in 2007. Building a Better model one year at a time!

I'd like to send thanks to all the contributors for the great articles and fantastic photography that's been posted over the past year. I also want to extend my thanks to Josh for all his help in editing and posting the few reviews i managed to pound out this year (hopefully I'll manage to do a few more for '07), you've managed to make a fantastic site that will help preserve the history and trends of the hobby, not only for the die hard collectors, but also for those who are just now getting into the hobby. CDX has become a great tool to educate all of us not only about the present and future of this hobby, but also about it's history and origins.

"I had a choice, buy a new car or buy a Jumbo Machinder Green Ghost C3...it really wasn't that hard a choice to make."

 Hey- a shout-out!

Funny, he pronounces my username correctly [most (ignorant) people online think I'm a girl!], but then turns around and botches my real name! Well, don't feel too sorry, Josh; most people do that too.

.

Seriously, though, I want to thank you (and for that matter, Russell Cox, for helping put CDX up!) for allowing me the opportunity to share my collection online. That is something that I had never really considered doing.

.

I thought that it would just be a one-time thing with my first review of the DX Ninpuu Gattai Senpuujin from "Ninpuu Sentai Hurricanger", but I was encouraged by Josh (and some nameless people offline) to continue to develop my writting and photographic skills. (The photo side, not so much.) The more I collected (I have well over 70 individual pieces/sets), the more I wanted to share it even though I knew I was still well behind older collectors such as Josh, and I was a bit more selective (and less-wealthy) than others in what ended up on my shelves. Hopefully someone would notice it, and then come up to me in the real world and say they liked. (I really do need that feedback, folks!)

.
Not too bad for a guy with high-functioning autism, huh...?
.

Well, once more, thank you to CollectionDX for the opportunity, and I look forward to sharing more of my collection in 2007!

.

PS: Do I really know way too much about Super Sentai???

Well, thanks for

Well, thanks for the..thanks. Actually, I think I'd be mad if you suddenly said I COULDN'T contribute anymore. I love having a forum to do the Jumbo stuff, and god knows I would never have the initiative to do my own website.LOL

And yeah, thanks also to James and Rob, whose vast knowledge of intricate toys/models hopefully goes a long way towards compensating for my limited knowledge of simple ones! :)

Looking forward to more from Atom, Sanjeev, etc... I love the variety of the site. So many different interests.

And definitely thanks to Russell. Is it safe to say he is sort of the "Wizard of CDX"? Thanks for doing so much of the behind the scenes work.

"This must be settled the way nature intended....with a vicious, bloody fight!"
