Master Made SDF1 Makuros
A company called Master Made is creating a transformable SD version of a popular space ship. Dubbed the Makuros, this toy is highly detailed and is roughly 24 centimeters tall in cruiser mode. It features detachable arm cruisers and the first run will come with a pair of DF-1 robots. The base features city detailing. Coming October for $105.

I remember seeing pics of the SD-SDF-1 at a toy show before. Good to know that there's a release date and pricing for it... although it looks like, unless there's a lot of sliding involved, the cannons can't go into active mode around that giant noggin.

Mine arrived minutes ago, and I'm so glad I took a chance on this one. You never know what you're going to get from a new company. I haven't had a chance to open it and really examine it, but everything appears just as nice as the prototype pics. Fantastic details all over, and even the box is beautiful.
