Awwwwwww...

I STILL hear the Ba~ ba-ba-BA ba-ba-BA ba-ba-BA-RA-RA-RA-RA-RA-RA!

Your resilence to it's addictive charms spoils my fun. And I already have this toy on pre-order from Anime Export. Hope it's as good as the SRC GaoGaiGar!

This show from what I saw is

This show from what I saw is both an action show AND a solid spoof of other giant robots at the same time.

"His shielding is too strong! We need something better... something like... Rocket Punch!" "But we don't have anything like that built into this robot!" "*rips off his own arm and throw it into the enemy* We do now! ROCKET PUUNCH!"

Pretty Much

Dai-Guard is one of the hardest real robots, from a scientific point of view, stuck with a super-robot's job. Faced with interdimensional aliens with no logic behind their body or powers, Dai-Guard must:

-Have three people work as a team to make him work.
-Fight without ANY lethal ordanance since he is owned by a private company and not the military.
-Avoid being shut-down by property damage lawsuits
-Avoid being summarily totalled since his armor is... well... just steel or titanium, not some super-alloy.

It's a bit hard to get into, but once you wrap your head around it and get into the spirit of things, Dai-Guard is one of my favorite Off-the-beaten-path giant robot shows.
