Kotobukiya 1/100 Virtual-On Oratorio Tangram HBV-502 Raiden kit
Virtual-On mecha still has a strong following as shown by the release of this 1/100 kit of the HBV-502 Raiden from Kotobukiya. This 1/100 scale kit is 180mm tall and will retail for 8,190 yen.

6 comments postedI LOVED this video game back when we still had it, and this is a pretty cool mech design. However I'm not at all confident in my model-building skills, and the only action figures I've seen from Virtual On are the old Kaiyodo ones (which I know to stay the hell away from).
What's a Virtual On fan to do, eh?
I never played it other than demos and in-arcade ver., but whatever happened to the "Virtual-On" series of games? I saw a lot of models & toys, but that's all I see nowadays. 'Cause I agree with G-I above- there were some cool mecha in there.

My only Virtual on bot is the one coin figure. It's a trading figure with (limited) joints.
Btw Kotobukita is sell those Virtual on bots with decal for extreme detailing. So we don't have to paint it to make it look sharp.
I know nothing about Virtua On, but is that a dreamcast on its back?
Yep, it sure is. The VO bots all had Dreamcasts built into them, they would pop open and display a spinning disc when they would use boosters or super weapons.
Heh- I always thought that was a clever little gimmick they all had. :D
