Moebius Models to re-release Glow Gigantic Frankenstein

Although there's been nothing announced officially in the "News" section on the Moebius site (so this may have been out there for awhile before I caught on), they will be re-releasing the limited glow in the dark version of their re-issue of the Gigantic Frankenstein model kit.

Unlike the initial release, this one will be available in your favorite hobby shops rather than a con exclusive, although it's still being announced as a limited edition. But I don't know exactly how many pieces there'll be, or the price. But I'd expect around $100-120.

This kit will be packaged in a different box than the last release, with orange background instead of blue and no lightning bolt through the name.

You can see which parts glow here.

You know you want it, Sanjeev.

It totally friggin'

It totally friggin' figures...I'm at the absolutely MOST financially vulnerable spot I've ever been in in my entire life...and Dave comes around, waving his big Frankie in m face!

Wait...that didn't come out right! ;)

But seriously, I actually thought it was completely molded in glow material...not just the rock, head, shirt (under the coat?), hands, and shoes. Can you confirm, Dave?

Also, what material is it made out of? Is it glow vinyl or harder styrene? It's--what?--two feet tall?? I'd imagine styrene would be a bit too thin/weak for something that big...

Nope, it's just those areas.

Nope, it's just those areas. The "under the coat" parts are actually two separately molded pieces, as is the roped belt. And it is regular old styrene. I'm still waiting to assemble mine since there is supposed to be a garage kit replacement head that is sculpted like the box art.
