8 comments postedThis figure looks pretty damn sick! It doesn't seem to have the same double-jointed elbows as the recent Agito SIC KITs though.
Looks like it uses the regular double jointed elbows that KTs tend to use. The top picture, left arm, shows there's a ball joint going into the forearm. While the bottom picture, left arm, shows a hinge on the lower bicep? I reckon if there's enough clearance, we'll get the double jointed range of motion. Personally, I like this style, seeing as it helps to hide the joints.
Yeah, looks like the older ball joints used by like the Den-O, or Blade KTs. I'm worried that because of the crazy sculpt that it might be a bit more limited. I did originally prefer these joints, but after messing with Agito more and more, I've grown to accept the exposed joints for more articulation.
Love your blog by the way, it's always a good read.
I'm probably getting this, since it just caused me to hunt down an SIC Faiz and Auto Vajin on Ebay. Love... Faiz... too... much! :P
When I look to these pictures, I remember the Wolf Orphenoch of the show, where the tail was some kind of fluffy stick. Something really strange for one of the best "kaijin" designs of all Kamen Rider series. heheh
The S.I.C. treatment left this figure completely awesome, wish they could rerelease Faiz and the Auto Vajin to make the perfect set...
They did. They're just hard to track down. Search Ebay, that's where I got 'em. You pay a bit more than originally, but the $40 I dropped to get Faiz and his ride isn't COMPLETELY insane.
Just mostly. :P
Nice to know Faiz and AutoVajin were rereleased, I thought it didn't happen because I saw at HLJ that they were discontinued. And $40 for both of them is actually a great price, really close to the original price (if not the same).
Thanks for the information!
If you can't count on your fellow toy-geeks on Collection DX for the occasionaly tidbit of info and encouragement, who CAN you trust with your toy-hunting needs? :P
I wish you luck on your search and look forward to getting them in the mail myself!
