I think Saint Seiya Omega is

I think Saint Seiya Omega is getting the Figuarts treatment mostly because of its Saint Cloth designs. They seem more like cloths made of fabric than armors, so a Saint Cloth Myth (with all its anime accuracy and articulation) could be next to impossible.

Considering that someone from Bandai probably participated in the planning stages of Saint Seiya Omega, choosing designs that would be better in a line different from the Saint Cloth Myth could mean that the Saint Cloth Myth line is not as rentable as before.

Good points Luiz! The Saint

Good points Luiz! The Saint Seiya: Lost Canvas Saint Cloth Myth line did very poor, which may have prompted Bandai to reconsider future Saint Cloth Myth expansions of the brand using new Saint Seiya properties.

My burning question is: Who are the Omega Figuarts aimed at? The show is obviously not geared towards the fans of the original and is aimed at much younger audiences. It seems like a step in the wrong direction to introduce these as adult collectibles.

Thank being said. This figure pretty good, and I may just buy Kouga to add him to my Pegasus collection.

The real reason these are getting made?

The real reason these are getting made?

All Yoshihiko Umakoshi character designs must be made into S.H. Figuarts, even if they end up not being very good toys.

With that in mind, we still need S.H. Figuarts for Casshern Sins and Ojamajo Doremi.
