It'll be really interesting to see how they get that huge crest/crown from the beak of 'Speedor' onto the Engine DaiShougun's forehead. The sword, however, looks like its molded in a single piece, and doesn't collapse down like the Engine-Oh's Go-On Sword does.
I think I can go for this guy... Despite minor mold changes, I like the coloring.

I really dig the color on this. I wouldn't normally go after something like this, but since Go-Onger is crossing the seas as Power Rangers RPM, it should be fairly easy to acquire.
I just found out the origins of Engine DaiShougun...
It will be first featured in the movie "Engine Sentai Go-Onger: BOOM-BOOM! BANG-BANG! GekijouBang!". As well know in the series, Machine World- the planet of origin for the Engines and the evil Gaiarc- is one of eleven known dimensions, with Earth (aka Human World) being in one of those. Well, from what little is known right now, the movie is going to take our heroes to Samurai World in one of the other dimensions.
Engine DaiShougun is going to be Samurai World's counterpart to our Engine-Oh; even including its own three heroes to pilot it! Each of the three components of Engine DaiShougun will be its own Engine different from Speedor, Buson and Bear RV. Whether-or-not it will be an ally or how/if it is connected to the three Engines from Machine World remains to be seen.
The film (with five Super Sentai/Kamen Rider alumni actors!) will be coming out at the same time (August 9th) as the film "Kamen Rider Kiva: The King of Hell Castle" [which has been the tradition for many years now].

I was able to finally get a DX Engine Daishogun yesterday. This is the only toy I'll be getting from Go-Onger; I won't bother with the other sets since the toyline sucks (except for the DX Daishogun of course)

"I'm no ordinary ring."
Yes, it does have quite a different feel to it from Engine-Oh. The few remolded parts make it a character unto itself, but it isn't just "another repaint". I really like it.
Yes, I do have a review in the works.

I'll be looking forward to the actual review of DX Daishogun...I didn't know that 'bot is so powerful after seeing the only episode I've seen in Go-Onger so far: Episode 40.
