Bad news for Big-O fans, good news for Daitarn 3 fans.

Due to a trademark dispute with Big-O Tires, Bandai / Toynami will be unable to bring the Big-O Soul of Chogokin to the states. Fans are more than welcome to create/send in petitions for its release. It will still be released in Japan.

In other news, product development is ongoing for Daitarn 3 SOC, so it is in the works for eventual release…

I preordered my Big-O on

I preordered my Big-O on Anime-Export about a month ago, so this doesn't effect me at all. :D While this is probably a bummer to those who wanted to support the Bandai/Toynami merger, I don't think it'll make the figure all that difficult to get.

You know I cant help but

You know I cant help but shout catch phrases into my wristwatch every time I drive by a big O tire store, but why is this frivolous dispute causing problem now, why not like 8 years ago. It didn't stop bandai from releasing Big O merchandise (ok like two things) in the states before.

Lame!

This is just ridiculous. A toy based on an anime is in no way going to interfere with or tarnish a tire shops image. Hell this is the first time I've even heard of Big-O Tires. This reminds me of some of the crap Monster Cable has pulled.
