Chogokin DX Macross Frontier VF-25 2.0?
Macross Frontier VF-25 2.0? Yeppers...
This months hobby magazine scans reveal that Bandai will be announcing details for a retooled/remade VF-25 next month.
Arn't you glad you bought 3 of each of the previous releases even after we told you they kind of sucked. I told you folks Bandai would do this, let's hope they actually get it right this time. Something I really expected them to do the first time around.

People have pointed out that 95% of the games coming out these days are sequels. So I guess now we're getting "sequels" to toys as well?
Glad to see that someone else didn't completely hate the VF-25's. Given that it was Bandai's first foray back into 1/60ish Macross Valks since Yamato raised the bar, they didn't do too bad. They did a little better than Yamato's version 1.0 VF-1's.
Would hope VF-25 v2.0 takes what was done with the YF-27s and build from there.
Wish list for VF-25 v2.0:
1) Possible hands (no more switching between 3-4 sets of hands)
2) If you must have the survival knife, make it storable in the shield like it's suppose to be.
3) Make the legs lock into fighter mode correctly.
4) Make the fins on the bottom tilt out at the proper 45 degree angle instead of straight up and down.
5) And everyone's major gripe, make the leg joints swivel so it can do a proper a-stance in gerwalk mode.
The closest I ever get to a Chogokin VF-25 is when I go over to Jeremy's house to do a podcast.
The DX VF-25s weren't really all that bad. At least they're not as bad as the Yamato VFs 1.0. Right?
The old Yamato VF-1s were great. They were so heavy you could beat people to death with one.
LOL at the comment about being warned away from the prior models.
I'll wait for a review on this one before I go for it :)
