DMK01 - Dual Model Kit Optimus Prime by TakaraTomy

DMK01 Transformers Dual Model Kit - Optimus Prime due at the end of June 2011 for 9,240 yen by TakaraTomy. Completed figure will stand close to 10 inches tall.  It appears to be more action figure than model kit with a core figure you add the parts to. Parts appear to be all prepanted as well.  Despite being called Dual Model these figures do not transform.

Man that is a sweet Optimus. I love Bayformers. <3

AT LAST.

I don't like Movie Designs enough to buy a transformer of any of them... but a highly detailed, hopefully super-posable Optimus Prime model? Here's hopeing they go on sale and I can nab one at something close to $80 than the $100 mark it's at...

From what I understand, it

From what I understand, it will be about as poseable as the 2009 Leader-class figure is [that I reviewed]. But obviously the lower arms won't be as restricted, and I think they did throw a waist swivel in there.

"Despite being called Dual Model these are not Scopedogs."
