Soul of Chogokin Gunbuster Gokin Color Ver. updated

Welcome back! Bandai is re-issuing their Soul of Chogokin Gunbuster with a new "alloy" paint scheme. The SOC of this popular 80's super robot is loaded with diecast and can split apart into the two Buster Machines. It also comes with a large display stand based on the launch platform from the anime. Scheduled for release in September 2015 for 22,000 yen (without tax).

Bluefin Tamashii will be releasing this figure in the United States:

That depends entirely on whether you consider buying the same mold twice just because of different paintjob worth another 200~ dollars.

Of course you don’t need the repaint, but you might regret not buying it when you had the chance.

Sucked me in with all the 40th repaints and the SRC Mazinger with the metal finish looks great too. Now this.

Well I saw someone remarking

Well I saw someone remarking how the posable hands on their GX-34 were broken the other day and decided to look at my own...and what do ya know, every single knuckle on the right hand is cracked to some degree. Gah!

It's just as bad as Ideon's shoulders!
