X-Plus Daikaiju series Gappa (aka Monster from a Prehistoric Planet)
Gappa hails from the 1967 film Daikyoju Gappa also known as Monster from a Prehistoric Planet in the US. This completed PVC toy is due out in August 2009 for 13,800 yen. Comes with open and closed wings as well as open and closed mouth.

LOL I was just about to say how awesome this is. Not so much because of the sculpt,but because someone,somewhere decided that a collectible action figure of GAPPA of all things,that costs more than a hundred dollars,was a sound business move. Hell,you can get the DVD for a buck!
Actually,you might be able to get the DVD for free if you ask nicely. Somehow I own about seven DVDs containing this movie and/or Giant Gila Monster. It's a sad life,but it's the one I lead.
Who am I kidding,if I had enough money for thing,I'd be all over it.

Still, I have to give it up for the old-school Nitto figure of this guy (the vintage Marusans aren't bad either).

It's a little expensive,but when you think about it,he is a TRIphibian monster,so it's like you're getting three toys in one. That's not too shabby.
