What 'super-fragile' valks? None of Bandai's MacF figures have been fragile, and if you're thinking of Yamato, whole different company (and not fragile either).
I was refering to these:

I believe it was originally designed and scaled to be part of the RD line, but it was branded with a DX logo when Bandai decided to design it as an ABS/Diecast vs. ABS/PVC toy and market it to the higher end collector crowd due to its similar size to the previous DX toys.
Thus it's of an appropriate size to fit with Robot Damashiis, but has the (probably) perfect transformation and die-cast assembly of the DXes - technically being marketed to both potential walle... er... crowds.
hmm I was thinking that also, why does it need a stand in gerwalk mode. Maybe too top heavy, but with those giant feet I cant see why it wouldnt be able to counter balance the body. We'll see I guess. I still want this toy.

Whoa. Way cooler than any valkyrie.
Isn't DX Chogokin the same line that had the super-fragile Valkyries?
Oh man, this looks so awesome but I am worried.

The one was actually named Worst Toy of the Year.
There's nothing fragile about any of those toys.
Lookin'pretty much like MF's equivalent to the warthog jet fighter
I think the RD tag is only there because of the VF-25 chilling out in one of the pics.

Man Ive been so waiting for this thing. Now I can stand this one next to my Yamato monster...I love it.
looks a 100$ toy? It need a stand in gerwalk mode?

It's been mentioned elsewhere that the stand is just an interim thing for the prototype. No need to panic.
