Bandai America unveils new Shogun Warriors Line
(NEW YORK, NY '“ April 1, 2006) '“ With a legacy that boasts the introduction of some of the hottest Japanese toy trends to the United States like Power Rangers and Tamagotchi, Bandai America Incorporated is set to unveil one of its strongest brand offerings, the re-introduction of the original Giant Robots, the Shogun Warriors.

"We are really excited to aquire the license for this classic series" said Bill Bebe, vice president of marketing. "The Shogun Warrior line is loved by millions, and we feel that todays kids will love the series as much as kids did back in the 1970s".

The lineup will include such favorites as Great Mazinger, Dragun, Poseidon, Raider, Combattra and Gaiking. These toys are based on the smash it Japanese line "Soul of Chogokin", only modified for American Audiences. "We had to remove all the metal, firing fists, and any sharp edges to conform to US safety standards" said Fred Garvin, product manager. "But the kids won't care, they will get to play with giant robots once again. Sure the collectors will complain, but they kind of scare us anyway".

The new Shogun Warriors line will also be accompanied by a new comic book writted and drawn by Todd McFarlane, and a new animated Gaiking series.

...then, I read that Fred Garvin had retired from male prostitution to become a Bandai product manager, and I had to pick myself off the floor laughing and sit back in my chair to leave my comment.
