ES Gokin from Fewture / ArtStorm
This one caught me off guard. Looks like Fewture (who does the EX gokin) is getting into the SD game with a new line called ES Gokin. These gokin toys are packed full of gimmicks and transformation and are due late 2009. Exact price TBD.

Dancougar is SO BOUGHT, but if Fewture is making these then I fear the price tag...

So bought indeed. Especially Baikanfu, for me! :-D
Hopefully they will honor the Gokin name designation and have plenty of metal, and not pull a Bandai SIC.

Upon first clicking, when I saw GoShogun, I thought, "cool, but eh... I'm happy with my Brave Gokin one." Then I scrolled down and, behold, there's a prototype of... Baikanfu! :-O
My eyes are tearing up at the sheer awesomeness that that Baikanfu seems like it's probably gonna be. My wallet weeps at the likely price Fewture will want for it. Then my eyes weep too when they realize my wallet has wept itself dry. lol

Well, with Fewture helming this project and "Gokin" in the toyline name, I think the chances of there being copious metal in these things are pretty damn good!
Good to see you back, REX-203! I, too, fear the price of these, but SD toys have traditionally been fairly affordable. Then again, the West Kenji Godzilla figures were kinda pricey...and these things are gokin AND have transformation gimmicks. We'll see...

Personally I kinda hope these have NO diecast content at all to help keep the price down, but we'll see..

Hopefully they will be similar to the Megahouse SD Dygenguar and Aussenseiter in terms of size. I skipped on both Dancouga and Baikanfu SOC versions so I will get these instead. If they are similar in size then they will all go great together when I display them
