Unique Toys Salmoore (Cy-Kill)

Third Party company, Unique Toys, is tackling a subject very near and dear to the hearts of Transformers fans: Gobots! Their UT-D01 Salmoore is a stylized remake of the Renegade Gobot leader, Cy-Kill. It is said to be the size of a Voyager class Transformer and will have chromed exhaust pipes and wheels. Coming second quarter 2014.

A nice attempt, it's just a shame it's ripping off the transformation sequence of RTS / Generations Wreck-Gar.

I kind of have to agree. This toy comes across more like an upated bike Transformer (G2 ROADPIG) that was adapted into a loose fitting homage. Change the head details and chest and it could be anyone.

Fair enough but it still is enough of a "Cy-Kill" for me to buy. I will put it right next to x-transbots road ranger. Imperfect sure but find another Go-Bots update, I will buy that too.

Lacks Character

It looks very far from Cy-kill to me. Sure the basics are there but it lacks character. It needs a bit more of the animation style in the face. Plus at $100 it is a definite NO.

I love Gobots but this really

I love Gobots but this really doesn't interest me. I like the bike mode but the paint deco could be a lot better. Also my biggest problem is the face. This robot suffers from the same problem as the original Gobot toys. It's just a generic robot face. I would love to see updated Gobots done with faces with real character to match how they looked in the Hanna Babbera cartoon, something like the Transformers Animated figures.
