Bandai America To Launch Complete Line Of Toys Based On New Animated Series 'Pac-Man And The Ghostly Adventures' At American International Toy Fair

NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc. and Bandai America Incorporated have joined to bring one of the most recognizable video game characters* to toy shelves this fall. A new animated series in 3D CGI animation will debut on September 7, 2013 on the Disney XD network. The toys, based on the series, will debut at the American International Toy Fair, Feb. 10 -13 at Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and will be available at retail stores this fall.

"Pac-Man is one of America's most beloved iconic characters and with the 'Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures' series, this fun loving character will come to life for a whole new generation," said Georgia Manolas-Lopez , Director of Brand Management for Bandai America Incorporated. Highlights in the Pac-Man toy line by Bandai are:

Talk'n Chomp'n Pac -- Bring Pac-Man to life with this 12" Talk'n Chomp'n Feature Plush. With his signature "waka waka" chomping action, you never know what he is going to say! Watch Pac's mouth move from slow to super-fast chomping action with over 25 signature phrases and wacky sounds from the show. Time for Pac Power!

Gooage Spewing Gigantic Pac -- Gross goo & ghost eyeballs spewing action just like on the show! Drop the goo in, press down on Pac's head and check out the goo spewing action! With Gooage Spewing Gigantic Pac-Man the "grossly" adventures never end.

Introduced as a video game character 33 years ago, Pac-Man is back in a computer-animated television series on Disney XD. The series is being produced by Avi Arad and features Pac-Man saving Pac-World while attending High School. Each adventure follows Pac and his two best friends as they try to return the ghosts to the Netherworld and save Pac-World.
