Size? Fragile?

Does anyone know if this will be bigger than the original DX Gatcha Spartan? This looks super slick with the extended/lengthened #1 ship. All die cast? I have never owned or seen a Fewture toy in person but aren't they known for being extremely fragile, aside from being expensive? I usually am strictly vintage toys only but this is so tempting...feedback/advice based on prior releases is appreciated.

I'll ill-equiped to answer this, but here goes!

edit: I thought I hit reply on Mr. Ginrai's post, but I guess I didn't.

So, I don't know how long the original DX was. I found one post translated from Italian saying 23cm/9.5in combined, although having never seen one in person I don't know if that's accurate. There's no detailed size info released for the EX Gokin yet, but the New God Phoenix was 30.5 cm, which is just slightly over a foot. You can see it in the picture, and although the perspective isn't great, the Gatcha Spartan seems to be quite a bit bigger.
I have no idea about build quality, but going from Josh's review of the NGP (which I think was the most recent EX Gokin vehicle release), it was pretty much a beautiful hunk of diecast, with some small issues in gimmick execution.
...that's all I got.

Thanks Adam! As soon as you

Thanks Adam!

As soon as you guys hear more I'd love to know. You guys are literally the only site I can find that broke the news about this (top notch sleuthing as usual!!!!) I can't even find a potential preorder yet. This is a really tempting piece for me - I have no modern stuff and I am definitely still hunting for a vintage DX spartan, but this just looks like it will be right.

I just hope they get a little edgy and decide to do crazy box art like the vintage popy. Those plain Jane boxes that show the toy on a blank background just don't do it for me. Needs some color lol.

I did read some of Josh's old reviews...glad fragile is not a problem. Gimmicks are good though, the more the better! Cross your fingers boys!

A little longer

I don't remember if that blurb saying it's about a foot is recent or not, but the press sheet says it's a little over 14 inches.
