Yamato Toys is now known as Arcadia
This scoop comes from Save (aka Adrian of Tokyo Hunter ) over at Macrossworld.

Yamato, who over the course of a decade have become the premier manufacturer of high end collectibles ranging from their amazing Macross products to anatomically beautiful female figures, are giving themselves a bit of a makeover with a new name. Information is scanty right now but the gist is that all of their future products will be distributed under the new "Arcadia" banner while their American branch will still be known as Yamato. They showed very little in terms of Macross products at Winter Wonderfest. The most intriguing news is a 1/8 scale ball-jointed doll of Hikaru Ichijo with a matching cockpit. No photography was allowed at the event as of this post.

1 comment postedIt seems pretty weird that they would completely drop their branding. I wonder if Arcadia isn't a new sub brand of Yamato, as that site doesn't seem to be representing the toys side of Yamato very strongly, at least at a glance (okay, even taking a longer look, there's nothing mentioning any connection). I'm confused, but well, whatever. I guess there will probably be detailed information shortly enough.
