Earth Engine Impacter from Captain Earth

The Earth Engine Impacter is a massive giant robot from the TV anime, Captain Earth. Kotobukiya's non scale model kit features color molding and snapfit construction. Comes with optional beam cannons, energy swords, alternate head crest with cannon barrel, and an in scale Earth Engine Ordinary which is its core unit. It also comes with a dedicated flight stand. The Earth Engine Impacter is 18 centimeters tall once built. Scheduled for May 2015 with a price of 6,800 yen.

What was the deal with the "blade legs" in mecha design for a while? I think Linebarrels did the same thing.
